CURVE GENERATING SERVICES
As an additional service, the standard mirror blank and standard plate glass tools can have a spherical curve generated n them. The advantage of the machined curves is that less time will be required to reach the polishing stage in fabricating a mirror. However, both the mirror and the tool have to be generated with matching curves to take advantage this time saving service, e.g., a-concave curve on the -mirror and a convex curve on the tool.
The following is for standard parts. Please request quotations for more tailored curves to meet your requirements. The opposite surface is machined ground flat.
